Neil D’Costa is one of Australia’s leading cricket coaches, with almost four decades of experience in nurturing junior and elite talent. Armed with university degrees in sports science, sports coaching and psychology, D’Costa has worked alongside some of the best in the game in both Australia and India.

D’Costa’s list of proteges include the likes of Marnus Labuschagne, Michael Clarke, Mitchell Starc and Phillip Hughes, while he has mentored several other first-class and Test players in both Australia and abroad.

D’Costa’s wealth of experience includes stints in charge of the NSW under-19 set up, multiple Sydney grade clubs and heading up an academy in India.

Now, D’Costa is focussed on helping guide the next generation of talent with his Stars Cricket Academy, welcoming hundreds of players through the nets each week. His current stable continues to include multiple first-class players and Australian under-19 representatives, to younger players making their way through the junior men’s and women’s spaces.
